Backseat Babies…
It happens to the best of us. That transition from child-free life — concerts, restaurants, last-minute plans — to parenting. Luckily, you live in Southern California, where the weather is better (can you imagine how much harder it would be to just … go grocery shopping in the rain?) and there are so many fun, novel things to experience with your kids. We’re here to tell you that those dirty looks from other people are just in your head. Share your love of culture and bring your kid to the festival, the restaurant, the art pop up.
We’ve cooked up a family-oriented newsletter that will help raise the next generation of backseat KCRW kids. Think: fun things to do, field guides, “ask an expert” (e.g., what are the best headphones for kids and concerts?), and fun commentary for and from anyone raising kids in Southern California — parents, funcles, aunties, grams + gramps, caretakers, you name it.
And if we’re lucky, these kids will tell us it’s not cool to be addicted to our phones and that maybe we should get outside more.
